Our Community

We are seeking to serve our local community by showing Gods love for people in a practical way, as well as his desire to help bring change to those experiencing difficulties in life. This takes the form of various projects and events in our community.

Alpha Course

Alpha Course

Hugely popular across the UK, the Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life, with friendly, open discussions and free food! Please approach us for details as to when the next course is available.

First Love Foundation

First Love Foundation Foodbank

Quaystone is a stakeholder church and heavily involved in this local scheme, helping address hidden hunger across the borough. It is more than just a Foodbank as it provides bespoke schemes to help people get their lives back on track.

community parents

Community Parents

Quaystone is delighted to be partnering with Island House to provide free one-to-one support to first-time parents.

Pregnancy and becoming a parent can have many ups and downs, and sometimes seems like a whole new world. Community Parents is a group of local mums who have received training to provide one-to-one support during pregnancy and up to 8 months after your baby is born. They will provide practical and emotional support through the changes, empowering you without “taking over”.

Community Sundays

When there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we have a Community Sunday where we organise an event to serve families and children on the Island. Please see link for examples of what we have provided recently.

fusion

Students

We are registered with Fusion UK who help students find a local church to call home and feel connected to the wider church family.
