Leadership

The leadership team at Quaystone are also the Managing Trustees as we are a registered charity. In addition to their legal responsibilities as trustees they have responsibility for praying about and considering vision for the future development of the life of the church. The leaders also prepare the agenda for the regular meetings of the members of the church where all major decisions are made.

The church is accountable to the Baptist Union of Great Britain and strict guidelines are in place to protect children and vulnerable adults.

Ultimately, we believe that God is ‘in charge’ as we try to make Him the centre of all our decisions!

Quaystone is currently without a Minister and is seeking God as to future Ministry.

Rob Lambden

Rob has lived on the Isle of Dogs for over 25 years and he runs his own business also based here on the Island. He has been a part of Quaystone church since 2000 and is currently the longest serving member of the leadership team. He is married to Ruth and has two sons.

Rob loves examining the word of God and enjoys discussing his beliefs in a scientific and intellectual context. He is also someone who can just as easily relate and discuss things on an emotional and spiritual level.

Rachel Redfearn

Rachel Redfearn

Rachel Redfearn is a mother of three who has lived on the Isle of Dogs for over 22 years. Rachel has a passion for bringing change into the Community here and this shows itself in a number of ways.

Rachel was privileged to be instrumental in the setting up of our local birth centre which opened in 2008 and brings many families choice over where they have their babies.

In 2012, Rachel set up a local Community Project here on the Isle of Dogs.

The project offers one to one and group support to vulnerable families through a volunteer network and provides important early support to local families through the change that pregnancy and early parenthood bring.

Rachel is also a graduate of the London School of Supernatural ministry where she is learning to move in the fulness of all that we have as children of God and is seeking together with the rest of the leadership team to bring more of this learning into our church life.

Rachel has a desire to see whole families restored in their relationships together and also in their walk with God. She is excited to see who God will bring to us in the months ahead and believes that we as believers have what it takes to lead each individual and family into freedom and a restored life through a new relationship with Jesus.

Rose is a trained midwife and has been part of Quaystone Church for many years. She is married to Joseph and has four children. Her family is very important to her and we secretly think her intention is to have enough grand children to be able to field the entire Ghanaian football squad.

She is passionate about God and is an advocate of how important prayer is to help and improve the world we live in.
